HAEVEN Privacy Policy

HAEVEN ("we", "us") is a social platform built around the principle that social shouldn't hurt. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how to remove it.

1. What we collect

Account info: email, username, display name, password hash, optional avatar/bio.
Content you create: posts, comments, stories, direct messages, journal entries, mood check-ins.
Safety signals: reports you submit and the moderation labels our AI generates on your content.
Payment metadata *(Calm members only)*: Stripe session IDs, plan, status. We do not store card numbers.

2. How we use it

To run the service: deliver posts, route DMs, render notifications.
To keep HAEVEN safer: Claude (Anthropic) reviews public content and DMs for harm; flagged content is surfaced to you with kinder rewording suggestions, never sold.
To process Calm subscriptions via Stripe.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share only what's strictly necessary with our processors:

Anthropic (text content for moderation + weekly Calm reports)
Stripe (subscription processing)
Emergent Object Storage (image hosting)

4. Your rights

Export: download every piece of data tied to your account from Settings → Export.
Delete: Settings → Delete account permanently removes your profile, posts, messages, journals, moods, stories, notifications, and payment history. This action is irreversible.
Block: stop another account from interacting with you at any time.
Report: flag any post, comment, message or user. We aim to review reports within 24 hours.

5. Children

HAEVEN is not directed at children under 13. We require all accounts to confirm they are 13 or older at signup.
